<The Final Cut> 앨범은 오리지널 멤버였던 Roger Waters가 1983년 밴드를 떠나기 전, 마지막으로 함께 했던 앨범이다. 2011년 새롭게 발매되는 ‘디스커버리 (Discovery) 에디션’은 The Wall 앨범의 공동 프로듀서였던 James Guthrie가 오리지널 스튜디오 앨범을 디지털 리마스터 작업한 것으로, 오랜 시간 Pink Floyd와 아트웍 콜라보레이션을 함께한 Storm Thorgerson이 새로이 디자인한 패키지에 12페이지 분량의 북클릿이 전곡 가사와 함께 담겨있다.
